Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC operator for an immediate need at our client in Vadstena, an established industrial company that manufactures pumps for the paper industry and for managing large water flows.

This is an exciting opportunity for you who have solid experience in machining and want to work with large and technically complex components in a modern machining workshop.

You will work in a larger machining workshop where the main processing involves larger pump housings. The job requires high precision, technical understanding, and independence. Since the components are complex and often in larger formats, we are looking for someone with extensive experience in CNC machining.

The machine is equipped with the Heidenhain 430 control system, which is a requirement for you to master.

You will have significant responsibility to ensure that production is carried out correctly according to drawings and quality requirements.

Working Hours:

The position is scheduled for a 3-shift system with a setup that provides longer continuous time off. You will work 12-hour shifts three times a week, with a night shift every other week included in the schedule. This results in a compressed workweek with fewer working days.

Your Profile

To fit into the role with our client, we prefer that you have a CNC education or equivalent work experience and have several years of experience in machining, preferably of larger and more complex components.

You are accustomed to working independently based on drawings and have programming experience. Good knowledge of the Heidenhain 430 control system is a requirement for the position. You also hold a forklift license and overhead crane license and are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You thrive in a production environment where you can take responsibility and work with machines and industrial machining.
